Repair

"All it needs is a tuning" is a common misconception about pianos. The piano is a very complex musical machine with thousands of moving parts and over 200 steel strings at very high tension. That's alot of opportunity for something to go wrong! 

If your piano has keys or pedals that stick, do not function properly, or make undesirable clicking, squeaking, or buzzing noises, then your piano needs some mechanical repairs. While very minor repairs and adjustments are included in the piano tuning/service appointment, you may need separate appointments for replacement of broken strings and repair of broken action parts. It is quite common for older pianos to require several hours, or even days, of repair in addition to tuning.
