Hello piano lovers,

Thanks for visiting John Fish Piano Service. My story in a nutshell-After falling in love with pianos in the 90's, I dedicated my life to the study and servicing of pianos. After some independent study, I attended North Bennet Street School's Piano Technology Program (www.nbss.org) in Boston, MA. While at NBSS I took part in their piano internship program where I did piano tuning and repair work at M. Steinert and sons, Berklee College of music, Boston University, Harvard University and other locations in the Boston area. After graduating NBSS in 2001,  I went on to work for purveyors of Steinway, Mason and Hamlin, Charles Walter, Yamaha, and kawai pianos as well as several independent piano restorers and many private clients before founding Northeast Piano Service.

After 10 years of operating Northeast Piano Service in the western MA and CT areas, I have moved back to my home town in the heart of the Berkshires. Now doing business as John Fish Piano Service, I am excited to continue offering piano tuning, repair, and restoration services to my local communities in Berkshire county, Western Hampshire county, and the surrounding areas. I have done over 10,000 piano tunings and countless repairs. I would love to help you find inspiration by making your piano sound and look amazing!
